The next time you’re anxious or afraid, or if you’re feeling scatter brained, or if you’re not inclined to be loving, that’s you being you.
God’s Holy Spirit isn’t that way.
If you’re a born again believer, you know there’s a battle between our new nature and our flesh. Stop and consider who’s in charge–you in your flesh or God in the form of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Consider the words of Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:7.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
