In light of the rapidly changing events related to the corona virus pandemic, it’s time to prepare for a new reality.
On Sunday evening, March 15, 2020, I had the privilege of delivering a message on preparing for a new reality at our church–Northwood Baptist Church, Columbia, MO.
When I was presented with the opportunity to preach, I struggled with what to say and what not to say. I didn’t want to add to the overload we’re already getting about the pandemic, but I didn’t feel right about ignoring the subject either.
My thoughts covered two key areas.
- Direction I’ve gleaned from others
- Direction I’ve gleaned from God’s word
We should not overlook the direction we get from others, but we know the direction we get from God’s word is the most reliable of all.
