But what if you have been brainwashed? How would you know?
Some years ago when I read The Rape of the Mind, by Joost A. M. Meerloo, I started thinking about how I would respond if held for interrogation and tortured. My late friend Gerald feared it would happen to him, and I guess a little of it rubbed off on me.
But is that what brainwashing is all about?
