We’re not living in the seven year Tribulation spoken of in the Bible. We’re not yet being forced to take the mark of the beast.
But here’s a rationale that will be used when that time comes.
The push toward passports for the jab, as well as other forms of digital identification, are certainly setting the stage for the time when the world will be forced to take the mark of the beast.
Revelation 13:16-17 says that no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark. Nobody wants to be forced into something, so why not make the appeal enticing?
It calls for a positive spin–one that’s already out there.
Be on the lookout for people who say it is a human right to be able to prove your identity. It’s a matter of personal dignity.
If you can’t prove your identity, you’ll miss out on such benefits as medical treatment or the opportunity to travel freely. You won’t be able to take advantage of the protection of the law.
After all, you don’t want to be left out, do you?
Do you see how devious this is?
Never let it be said that Satan isn’t clever.
As for my identity, I’m a human being who was created in the image of God. As a born again believer in Jesus, my ultimate identity is found in Christ.
That means nothing to the Satanic forces ruling our world today. They find it offensive.
But it means a great deal to our gracious, merciful and loving Lord. And that’s what counts.
